∙ 13y agoThe famous ice age megafauna like mammoths, mastodons, woolly rhinos, saber toothed cats, giant ground sloths, etc became extinct 10,000 years ago. That was at the end of the Pleistocene and the last Ice Age. Nobody is sure why they died out.
