The Wright Brother's (Americans) were the first me credited with flight on December 13 1903.

Technically no. The Wrights may have been the first recorded to have flown an airplane, but Jean-Francois Pilatre de Rozier and Francois Laurent d'Arlandes were the first to fly when they took a hot air balloon up in Paris, France, on November 21, 1783.
