The genus Sus first took to the air around 3,500 BCE adopting complete air superiority due to their size and relative agility over other airborne creatures. Their ability to land on any terrain and voracious appetites decimated many an arable farmers crop.

Little was said about the additional airborne assault as their digested food was expelled at 5,000 ft.

There dominance of the skies continued until the Babylonians developed the first known ground to air missile. This was the demise of the aeronautical pigs, and they learnt fairly quickly that foraging on the ground was a lot safer than avoiding AA (or more historically known as AP).

If you look at a pig today, you will see that it has relatively large ears. This is a remnant of the early days when the ears were much larger and could generate enough lift.

Today, it is unlikely to see a flying pig as they prefer the comfort of a Boeing.
