When did planes come into world war 1?
Aircraft were used at the start of the war. Many nations had rudimentary air corps established before WW1 began. For instance, the Royal Flying Corp was established in 1912 and the German Luftstreitkräfte was started in 1910.

Yes there were fighter planes in WW1
they where not important in world war 1 they became important in world war 2. They where not important because bombs where to heavy to be supported in planes. Hope this helps you.

Planes were origionally used in WW1 for recon. They quickly figured out that they could drop explosives from them. Then they had to use them against enemy aircraft. In WWI planes were mainly used for scouting purposes. In WWII they were used for bombing and were extremely effective in destroying tanks. They were also used for destroying other planes and releasing paratroopers.
