Sears never made firearms. They "branded" firearms from firearms makers with their name as part of a contract.

There is a warning light on the dash that will come on, the dash may also start making the alarm noise depending on yerar and trim level.
Used; but in good condition it would be worth about $3000USD to start. Typically these shotguns were not very heavily used and can have quite a lot of very high quality engraving, so the price could easily double that.
