As far as I know Adolf did not divide Germany into two - if anything he tried to expand Germany (through the concept of: 'lebens raum' - Living area) and annexed other areas of Europe (those areas that where taken from Germany as a result of the loss of World War I and other reasons - hence World War II ensued.

The Allies of World War II - the US, Britain, France & the (then) Soviet Union divided Germany into East & West (Berlin, the Capital City) was equally divided into the Eastern (Soviet) and Western (US, Britain, France) zone.

Germany eventually (Oct 3, 1990) was (re)united and its Capital City once more is now Berlin (it was Bonn during the division and for a few years after).

Which side was to blame for the division of Germany into the Federal Repbulic and the Democratic Republic?

The division of Germany was part of a much wider division of Europe and the world into blocs. I really don't think much is gained by playing the 'blame game'.

What did the peace of augsburg formally accept?

The Peace of Augsburg formally accepted the principle of "cuius regio, eius religio" (whose realm, his religion), allowing German princes to choose between Lutheranism and Catholicism as the official religion of their territory. It effectively ended the religious wars between Catholics and Protestants in the Holy Roman Empire for a time.
