Sorry, pal, but the Internet was invented/created by an Englishman who gave it to the military to establish secure communications. It wasn't 'given' by the US Military - it leaked out and was so easy to duplicate it took off! Incidentally, the Englishman, who is still alive today, didn't get a penny for it, although he did get made a Knight.
