Their is no feud between Germany and the Jews, and never was. The feud was and is between Hitler, the Nazis and today's Neo-Nazis. The German people had nothing to do with Hitlers persecution of the Jews, but knew something was going on, their neighbors kept disappearing. Todays German people have no more to do with the Neo-Nazis than the American people have to do with the same neo-Nazis in The United States. The Jews were unwilling participants, so no feud. ______

Germany has made immense efforts to fight antisemitism and prevent a revival of Nazism. What's more, since the end of the Cold War in 1989-91, about 150,000 Jews from the former Soviet Union have settled in Germany increasing Germany's Jewish population from a little under 30,000 to over 200,000. Moreover, some Israelis have also settled in Germany in recent years - and about 70,000 Jews resident in Israel hold German passports.
