Despite what you may have heard, scientists did not try to "make" a black hole. The reason being:
- Scientists today does not have the technology to make one.
- If they did, then devastating consequences would occur.

∙ 9y agoGeologist and philosopher John Michell proposed their existence in a paper written in 1783. He realized a star might be so massive that light would not escape, and called them "dark stars." It was later in early 20th century when they received more interest as a consequence of Einstein's general relativity. The term "Black hole" first appeared in print in an article "Black Holes in Space" published in 1964.

Well you could try google images, but other wise there is no actual real footage or pictures of any black hole because the gravitational pull of a black hole is so powerful that it can even suck up light!

After you pass a certain place, you won't have the power to escape it and in an increasingly faster and faster manner you will get pulled into the black hole. At certain distances from the black hole, you and bunches or rock and plasma and ice will start being compressed together, as the mess (you and everything else approaching the black hole) becomes more and more compressed ...think tomato to tomato soup to a single super-compressed droplet. Cancer? Try cooked, diced, sliced, baked and pureed. Getting close to a living star is much more of a Cancer risk than a dying one (black hole.)
