I'm not sure when weyerheuser bought out ben ansehl.... I would like more information on on the Benjamin ansehl women's perfume. We were digging around in the attic and found forgotten treasures, among them was an antique anniversary clock perfume bottle from the Benjamin ansehl company. Although the clock is a sticker, the remaining essence of the perfume is quite real in ti's galss bottle. So, if you would/could provide me with this information. I would be eternally greatful. :)) C Coleman66
First lets get this straight. There is no Benjamin Franklin Co. The Benjamin company was started by Walther Benjamin in 1899. The name Benjamin Franklin was put on air rifles as a gimmick to sell air rifles. In 1977, the Benjamin co, bought the Sheridan Co and in Feb, 19, 1992 Crosman bought the Benjamin Company. So now Crosman owns a three companies, Sheridan, Benjamin and Crosman.
you can buy one at Party City
You do not 'buy out' part of a company. You can buy in by investing money in a company by purchasing shares.

No, none do. But if you buy a Benjamin 392, or 397, (Benjamin is owned by Crosman) those come with a cheapie plastic lock. I've got 3 of them, wanna buy one?
The new company acquires the files. When you buy a company, you also buy everything that is owned by that company, which includes files.
Benjamin airguns made Ben Franklin brand airguns. The name is no longer used on any Benjamin model. Benjamin airgun bought Sheridan Airgun company years ago and continued to make Sheridan models. Crosman airgun Co bought Benjamin airgun Co. Crosman still manufactures Both Benjamin airguns and Sheridan airguns. Benjamin airguns come in .177 Cal and .22 Caliber Rifles. Sheridan models only come in .20 Caliber rifles. Most large sportingood stores like BassPro and Cabelas sell the air rifles. Or you can order them online ( See the link below.) All Benjamin and Sheridan airguns are Pellet guns not BB guns.
