You apply more pressure when you are standing up. This is because when you are laying down the weight of your body is being distributed and is not all in one place. When you are standing up all your weight is in the one spot you are standing on.

Using the kinetic theory explain why the pressure of a gas increases when the temperature increases?

When the temperature of a gas increases, the Kinetic Energy of the particles increases. This means that they move faster and apply a greater force when they collide with the walls of the container. As pressure is the force per unit area on the container, the pressure increases. This is Gay-Lussac's "Pressure Temperature" Law: "P = kT".
