Some people never have to get their tonsils out and most doctors will only do it if you get tonsillitis. Symptons are severe sore throat and the back of your mouth willl be swollen and may have white gunk. The swollen things are your tonsils. It can also cause yu t have lumps sticking out of your neck due to the swollen tonsils. You can also have similar symptons to a cold such as painful swalloing, coughing, headache and fever. Doctors can give you penicilin as treament.

∙ 10y agoIn all likelyhood, you should not. It is more or less accepted now that allopathic doctors removed tonsils to generate fees, and this practice has all but disappeared now. It is treating a symptom, rather than the cause of the inflamed tonsils, without regard to the patient's future health.
Seek natural ways to relieve the cause of the inflammation, which is similar to inflamed lymph nodes.
