on my 06 plate astra i was told at 60 k it has to be done
Hi mate I have a Vauxhall Meriva 1.8, 2007 and yesterday I took it to my local dealers and noticed that the period for replacement of the timing belt on my type of car (which has the same engine as yours) had been reduced from 50.000 miles to 40.000 miles. So the answer to your question regarding replacement of timing belt intervals is every 40.000 miles. There is also a time limit like 4 years but I am not certain of this but the 40.000 miles is certain, regards Jim.
up to 2002 it is every 40,000. 2002 onwards it is every 60,000 miles.
There are 1.609344 kilometres in a mile. Therefore, 58000 miles is equal to 58000 x 1.609344 = 93341.952 kilometres.
by 80,000 miles
36040 miles
60k, 80k or 100k, depending on the engine type. Vauxhall have more than one 1.7 diesel engine. Phone a dealer, have the registration and chassis number to hand, and ask.
80,000 miles.
...for what?
it should be changed after 60000 miles
I believe all vauxhalls are recommended for a belt change at 40,000 miles.
72,000 miles or 5 years
if its the vauxhall 2.0 dte, the answer is NEVER ...the engine has a chain, not a belt!
