I was just quoted $1,300 to replace front struts only (does not include rear struts.) Jetta GLI 2003 with 120,000+ miles.

The Grand Marquis has shocks, not struts. They are simple bolt on parts.
There are four suspension struts, one for each wheel, and two rear window hatch support struts.
