We know for certain that all life on Earth will end in 5 to 8 billion years from now, when the sun will run out of Hydrogen fuel, and will begin to die. As it dies, the sun will become a red giant star, and it will grow to thousands of times its existing size. As the sun expands, it will envelop the inner planets, and even before it reaches earth, the growing sun will scortch our beloved planet dry. Every ocean, stream, and lake - every drop of water everywhere - will boil away, leaving nothing alive.

Whether life will end before then, due to some other phenomenom, is unknown.

the world will end when volcano Etna erodes too nothing. scientists believe that before the end of the world volcano Etna will erupt for one last time and cover half the world they believe this will happen in 2078.

Life it's self would not die, but the world would come to an end, because over years the galaxy ages along with everything else in the solar system. So the sun would age and eventually consume earth and everything past it. Mainly, because the sun can be classified as four different types including the Blue star which is the hottest, then there is the yellow star (such as ours)and over 1 million degrees in Celsius, next is the Red Giant which is almost the coldest star (which is the one that would most likely be able to consume earth), then there is the dwarf star which is a star that is made from the red giant exploding forming a nebula, dwarf star, or quite even possible a black hole. At the rate we are moving we should export our species and other species to other planets to continue life.
