Muslims celebrate Ramadan by fasting all day from sunrise until sunset. This means that you wake up early in the morning, and have a kind of breakfast/lunch. Then you don't eat at all until sunset, which is when you break your fast. Breaking your fast is called Iftaar. In Iftaar, you eat some snacks such as dates and mixed fruit, but it is not specific to what you can eat during Iftaar. After maybe half an hour or so of the Iftaari time, you have dinner. Hope I helped!

All around the world everyone celebrates Ramadan in every country. There are Muslims every where on Earth that fast and pray and celebrate it's beginning and end. As you might now, Ramadan is the 9th month on the Islamic calendar. It is determined by the phases of the moon, there should be 2 cycles during one month. The first day of Ramadan is Eid -il-Fitr, it is celebrated with gifts, a special Eid prayer, food, candy, games, visiting others, and much more fun. Muslim students should take that day off.

These are just some basic things:

We fast from sunrise to sunset, offer extra prayers, devote ourselves to God (his Arabic name is Allah), do good deeds, read from our holy book (Quran), have patience, and on the last ten nghts we increase everything good that we can do.
