The US Civil War re-enactment takes place every year to celebrate the battle of Gettysburg which killed over 51,000 people. This event attracts over 50,000 people and takes place over a weekend with the reenactors arriving on Friday with spectators arriving over the weekend.
There is a Civil War reenactment in Aug., at Hale Farm and Village. This is a yearly event. Zoar, Ohio hosts a Civil War reenactment every other year in Sept. The next event will take place in 2011.
