When ever you try to open anything on your laptop windows 7 the Choose a program to open this file with page opens and you cannot access anything please help?

The windows is not recognizing the program it should assign to run a file. the simplest is to select a program and right click on it and got to properties then just assign the program that you want to run that kind of file and click ok and apply to all. that is how you are going to assign programs to all file extentions.there are many disscussion on internet and they give registy file that solves problem.
