It might be that the injector glow plug relay is going bad. This is usually caused by a faulty glow plug. One thing leads to another on these things. Try plugging in the winter oil warmer overnight and see what that does to help determine your issue. If the light does not stay on the replay the relay....its easy and about 20 dollars.

If spending money without a solid answer is the way you want to go then take the other guys advise if not then listen to a good technican and not a typical shade tree mechanic.
