Goldfish do not get pregnant. They are egg layers. Black spots on goldfish have nothing to do with their breeding condition.

as in blackened salmon? its a dry rub of spices, like cayenne pepper black pepper , rubbed on the raw fish and then usually sauteed or grilled and the spices burn a bit and 'blacken' the fish. If you mean the black spots on live salmon those are like freckles on people not two have the same spots. Any other opinions?
