That would depend on a multitude of things. For example, when do Christians worship? An answer would depend on secularity. An answer would also depend on individual faith and practice. A truly devout Christian can be said to be worshiping God without pause. Buddhism is many things. It is billions of people in many different cultures. Worship is also a cultural concept. Buddhism is not deity worship. The graven image of the Buddha is not worshiped. Buddha is not worshiped. There have been countless Buddhas. Most have been ordinary people, who lived and died without acclaim. None have been Gods. Buddhism is difficult for westeners to comprehend. However, The Bible tells us that God created man in his own image. It is surprising, therefore, that more Christians don't study themselves --- don't meditate and find within their own beings the eternal vibrations that most deeply resonate. Study Thomas Merton, a Christian monk who practized Zen as part of his quest to find a deeply personal relationship with God. Our choice is not either or. For a Christian, a devout Zen practice is the second window. ...with love and kindness

First off, Buddhists do not worship any deity, not even the Buddha. So with that said, there is no single special day of the week for practice (what we call the way we live our lives). Each and every day we put into practice what the Buddha taught.

Buddhists do not believe in a personal god who is separate from us. They do not "worship." There is no holy day (like Christians have Sunday as theirs) for Buddhists. Buddhists can worship any day they want and they worship anyday at all.

Buddhist worship daily. They in most cases have small shrines in their home. In the united states,on weekends, families usually go to temple to greet the monks and prey with them. There are many activities that are done such as preying, meeting other people and networking, as well as feeding and offering of food to the monks. Since monks are not allowed to cook for themselves, they must rely on the kind people who come to the temple. The temple is a central hub of Buddhist life. You are able to learn languages, hear about the story of Buddha, and learn the traditional prayers of the type of Buddhist temple you are visiting. If you are a Chinese Buddhist, then you most likely worship twice per day and have a day at the end of the week were you pray for your ancestors. If you are Vietnamese you would go to temple and make your circles around and prey to the wise men. If you are Thai, then you would go to temple and visit with the monks as well as donate things that they need for everyday life. If you are in other parts of the world then your worship patterns will slightly differ from these. It is all based on your ethnic background.

The days a Buddhist worships depends upon their type of Buddhism. Most will practice every day with special gatherings reserved for certain weekends.

Everyday. As the practice of Buddhism is just that a practice it is done everyday. This is how we can polish the tarnished mirror within. Striving in our daily practice is the way to polish our mirror and let our lives shine.

Buddhism is more a style of life than a god-based religion with a Sabbath. (Which is more common to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.)

So, Buddhists don't actually worship anybody, but rather attempt to reach a state in which their minds are completely detached from the world around them through meditation. This could be described as total peace, in non-Buddhist terminology.

Buddhists typically spend as much time per day, every day, as they can in meditation.

First off, Buddhists do not worship anyone or anything. We revere The Buddha, for bringing us the Dharma, but we do not worship even him. Buddhists treat each day the same as the next. We call what we are doing in our lives "practice" because we are practicing our faith trying to reach the goal The Buddha set for us. Therefore, each minute of each day we try (practice) to live our lives correctly and in concert with the Dharma, so you could consider that everyday is our faith / religious day.

There aren't days of worship in Buddhism as you might find in other religions because there is no one and nothing to worship in Buddhism. That does not mean that a Buddhist temple or center may not hold regular services. These services usually consist of group meditation followed by a talk or maybe chanting or study groups.

Buddhists do not worship any gods or beings, so the term worship as applied to what we Buddhists do is incorrect.
