You just keep working on it again again. keep going and it never stops.. i have finished 6 times already but its still going.
i had this happen once on an 03 dodge minivan. the alternator went bad and the battery was going dead but had enough power to get the engine started. once i replaced the alternator and charged the battery the gauges worked again. good luck!

They had broken up, but they are going out again in 2009. they started going back out in june.

It sounds as though your sensor is on its going of service. This is a simple replacement but first you have to locate where it is. Some are on top of the transmission . Some are on the side they can run from 42. to over a 100. shop around for the best deal. I have the same problem
