Torchwood is a BBC sci-fi drama series. Is is a spinoff series of Dr Who and is based in Cardiff Wales. Does jack meet the doctor in torchwood?
No. To date the Doctor has never made an appearance on Torchwood; although there have been several references to him both direct and indirect. The Doctors hand can be seen throughout series 1 and the TARDIS noise is heard in the series 1 finale followed by Jack's disappearance and is a direct tie-in to the 3 part Doctor Who series 3 finale. The Doctor is also mentioned by name several times in Torchwood despite him never actually appearing.
