Are brown snakes poisenous?

You should look at the head. If the head from above it a "heart" shape its poisonous. If its head is the same width as most of the body or "Straight" Its not poisonous. From the side view a poisonous snake has a "triangle" nose. Nonpoisonous snakes have a round nose. Also all you have to do is do very little research on google on places like that to find out.

Your cat ate a snakes head will it die?

Snakes are venomous not poisonous. Poisonous means you have to eat it to die. Venomous (which snakes are), means it has to be injected into your bloodstream to die. Your cat will be absolutely fine. Don't worry. If you see any weird behavior just go to your local vet. That simple. It's okay. Hope this helps :)

What does a snakes do?

well snakes are creations by god and are slithering creatures, there are 3 groups of snakes, venomous, nonvenomous, and constrictors. venomous snakes are snakes that are deadly so you do not want to get near them, how you can tell the snake is venomous you can look at it head shape, if its a triangle its a venomous or a constrictor. it will have a round head if its a nonvenomous. constrictors are snakes that will squeeze and choke you then eat you. lucky for us they are mostly inAfrica. if you were to FUD a snake its most likely to be nonvenomous. P.S. if you live in the south west in America and you hear a rattle? RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S.S. cause that's a rattlesnake (very deadly). BE,VERY CAREFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do adder snakes look like and are they poisonous?

Depending on the variation of the Adder and the locality, Adders have very distint black and yellow triangle or diamond markings which run from head to tail. Adders also have quite a broad head too compared to other snakes. Adders are also venomous snakes meaning their bite could possibly be fatal, although it must be said that the Adder in general is a well behaved snake who would prefere to flee rather than attack. Hope this helps, Cornsnake Kid

Where do snakes hold their poison?

They have venom and not poison. There are no "poisonous" snakes but there are venomous snakes. A poison must be eaten to do damage while a venom must be injected. The venom is stored in sacs behind the eyes on either side of the head. They are connected by ducts to the fangs at the front of the mouth in the upper jaw.
