All you need to do is erase the trouble code associated with the crankshaft positioning sensor. You will need a code reader to do this.
Pending on the year and engine size, some are located within the area of the harmonic balancer.
No you should be fine if you didn't unhook the battery for a long period of time. The OBD 2 ECM is alot better and smarter then the older OBD 1 ECM. If the Check Engine light still stays on then you will need it tested and cleared. Unhooking the battery will not clear any codes. The learning process is done after 10 miles or so. If it starts and runs fine then your ok but if the alarm and keyless entry does not work if equiped then you will need to take it to the dealer to be reprogramed.
That is closer to the time belt u have to remove the belt firts
The throttle position sensor can be removed by dismantling the chassis in which it sits. This can be done by referencing the owner's manual f the Pontiac Montana.
It will run you $30-40 depending on part store.
The throttle position sensor is located on the throttle body at the end of the throttle shaft.
yes mine had a really rough idle and it turns out the motor mount needed replacing
parts and labor should run around $650
by replacing the radio unless you are inclined towards successful and attractive African American re-engineering.
It is definitely a pin inside the wiper motor that is worn out. I just had mine replaced in my 02 Montana. The pin can be seen by removing the cover from the motor.
Sounds like a timing issue. There is no way to advance or retard the timing in the newer models unfornately. Either the distributor\coil pack is going bad or you are getting bad sensor readings from a sensor, possibly the crankshaft position sensor. Is your MIL comming on? If it is then get the code read and start from there. Autozone will read then for free. I hope this helps you some.
No, she isn't, Miley Cyrus is staying on Hannah Montana. Besides, Selena Gomez is already stars on a Disney Channel hit television show, Wizards of Waverly Place. It is said that they might replace Miley with Selena, or they may get someone that is unfamous to play Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana, but this is more than likely untrue information.
