Your 2006 Toyota Tacoma has a chain and not a belt. No maintenance is required.
Remove the water pump, the harmonic balancer (front pulley) and the timing chain cover. Then you should be able to get to it. Make certain that you pay attention to the positioning marks.
There is no scheduled mileage or time mentioned in any manual for Timing Chain replacement.

If it is a 4 cylinder the chain requires no maintenance or replacement. The chain will normally last the life of the engine. If it is a V6 change the cam belt and water pump at 90,000 miles.
It has a timing chain that should last the life of the engine.

The Gates website list no replacement for a Suzuki. I suggest you call a Suzuki dealer to make sure it has a chain and not a belt.
On the V6 change the belt at 90,000 miles. The 4 cylinder has a chain and requires no maintenance.
If its a v-6 It doesn't have a chain it has a belt and you should replace it every 90,000 miles. If its a 4 cylinder and you have over 150,000 miles on it then i would change it. The benefits will out way the cost. If the chain or belt breaks you will be replacing valves and possibly some pistons.
