60.000 miles should change cambelt.
seven hours of labour at £39 per hour is what I was charged at my local garage to change the clutch in our Renault Scenic. Comments anyone?
When owning a car, the owner should be aware of the cost of its parts. The Renault Megane Cambelt cost can range from $100 to $350.
cambelt should be changed at 70,000 miles , i was quoted £360 at Renault main dealer for cambelt change only , but had cambelt plus water pump changed for £357 at an independent garage.
The service engine warning indicator, on the instrument panel, is an indication that the oil needs to be changed. Change the motor oil and the warning light should go off.
60, 000 kms
I take it you mean 1.2 16V ? It doesnt have a cambelt , it has a cam chain , which "should" last the life of the engine, there is no recommended change schedules of the chain. If it gets noisy....change it quick !
it means that you should change the 4 injectors, if Megane has driven more than 180000 km it means that the injectors are amortizised.
There is a simple solution for this.First disconnect the battery terminals and then reconnect them this should reset all faults and errors.
Should be a timing chain, not a belt on a C220 Diesel
