your 2001 Honda odyssey lose water
From the 2006 Odyssey Manual: A is an oil change, 1 is rotate tires and 4 is replace spark plugs, and timing belt. Inspect water pump and valve clearance.
Your 2003 Honda Odyssey has a timing belt. (3.5L V6). It should be replaced every 166,000km, along with the water pump and cooling system flush. Due to the complexity of the V-TEC system and the importance of the timing belt, only a Honda Dealership should perform this service.
I just called the honda dealer here in Long Island (Atlantic Honda) and got a price of $799 for the timing belt and water pump replacement. A local service station gave a ruff price of $750 to do the same
At a Honda dealership around $900 with replacement of the water pump also.
Honda says to replace the timing belt at 105,000. I replaced mine at 100,000. Don't know the recommendation for the water pump but had mine done with the belt replacement.
