In about 2 billlion years, the Earth was covered with water, which was electrified by lightning, forming the early stages of life. During the next two billion years, that life grew and evolved from lizards to mammals to monkeys to humans. And even if the Earth was here before the Sun, and there were people living on Earth, they would all die due to the absolutely freezing temperatures.
