Splitting the Confederacy in two is what Grant (and Sherman) achieved earlier in the Siege of Vicksburg, which ended with the liberation of the Mississippi.

Just to help out others, i would write if yes: Yes, i would have helped the colonists if i was a member of the Powhatan Confederacy because you might need the Powhatan at times, like when disease struck Jamestown. if no: No, i wouldn't have helped the colonists if i was a member of the Powhatan Confederacy because i wouldn't want the colonists taking up land that should be ours!
