Try taking out the spark plugs first, because turning the crank shaft with the plugs in creates pressure. Or it could be that there is a bent rod and the piston head is in the head wall.
If you mean ... why the crank won't turn when the key is on and the acc.'s will turn, Well sounds like crank shaft is locked up. When the crank bearings try to pile up on each other and jam the crankshaft in it's final resting place, till rebuild.
yes
No
Ye, it will turn over.
with the combustion of the gasoline in the cylinders, the pistons are forced up and down, turning the crank shaft which then activates the transmission which sends energy to the drive shaft which in turn spins the wheels.
Manual transmission that is in gear-YES
No, it's bolted to the end of the crank which pistons/rods attached to.
-- Hand-crank generator -- Hydroelectric generator -- Windmill generator -- Front-wheel generator on a bicycle -- Car generator, run by a belt from a wheel on the crank-shaft -- Any turbine generator, i.e. turned by a shaft which is forced to turn by anything else
Crank shaft sensor need replaced or cam shaft sensor
Only if you want to lose your hand.
A bad cam or crank sensor can cause a no start, but the engine will still crank or turn over.
