∙ 12y agoThe wwe was made in 2002 because of copyright imfrigment. The WWF was already taken by World Wildlife Fund so the wwf had to change its name and slogan from World Wreslting Federation, to World Wreslting Entertainment

∙ 12y agoWWE Wrestling was initially started as a fledgling wrestling/fight promotion company by Roderick James McMahon. It started out as Capitol Wrestling and became World Wide Wrestling Federation. In the early 1980's Vincent McMahon took over the reins and renamed the company to World Wrestling Federation (WWF). In the early 2000's it got renamed to WWE to avoid confusion with the wildlife conservation group.
