Robin Hood is just a story. He never really existed. It may be only a legend, but there must have been at least a bit of fact behind its origin. He is supposed to have died on the 18th of November, 1247, at the age of 87. A gravestone at Kirklees Priory has an inscription giving a slightly different date: Hear undernead dis laitl stean Lais Robert Earl of Huntingun Near arcir der as hie sa geud An pipl kauld im Robin Heud Sic utlaws as hi an is men Vil England nivr si agen. Obiit 24 Kal Dekembris 1247 However, this monument is apparently a 17th-century forgery.
Well, Robert Fitzooth was actually one of many fictionous identities for Robin Hood. Some have said Robin hood was actually the Earl of Huntingdon, who's name was Robert Fitzooth. So, if the question is how Robert Fitzooth died, it would tehnically be how Robin Hood died, which happened after Robin went to a healer after falling ill, and the healer let him bleed to death.
Robin Hood was a folklore legend in England. He has never been proven to have actually existed, so there's no way to know when he was born. Most of the references to him came about in the late 13th century.
Allegedly, Robin Hood is buried in Yorkshire, England, at Kirkless Priory. Whether or not the body within the grave attributed to him is actually that of Robin Hood (indeed, whether or not there is even a body in the grave), is presently anyone's guess.

The earliest source of information about how Robin Hood died is a ballad called 'The Death of Robin Hood." It does not give the year in which he died. In my novel The Robin Hood Chronicles i conjecture that he died in 1348, because that was the year of a plague called the Black Death, which killed hundreds of people in England. Since there is no way of knowing when Robin Hood was born, there is no way of knowing how old he was when he died; my speculation is that he was somewhere around 60, but it is only speculation.
