Development of the Avro Arrow was killed before final acceptance test. All prototypes and spare parts were ordered cut up and scrapped. There is some evidence that in exchange for this the US sold a SAGE air defense computer system and a large supply of Bomark missiles to Canada. This effectively killed Avro as an aircraft manufacturer.
