the Dodge Charger was built off the Dodge coronet platform in 1966 and continued in 1967 after that a new body was built for 1968 thru 1970 then for the 1971 model year the "coke bottle design" came out , it lasted up to 1974 . some other models since then in the 70,s and 80,s carried the name also
Actually the famous Coke bottle styling was already introduced with the second gen Charger's, that is the '68 thru '70 models.
