The beginning of the Grass Fight was on November 25,1835 and the whole fight was because of confusion.The Texans thought that General Cos had a wagon full of Silver passing through but the wagon they stopped and fought for was really just full of hay.The Texans caught he wrong wagon and missed the right one at the right time.

The Texans got word that Mexicans were having silver delivered in. Texas ambushed the bags that were suppose to have silver, but only had hay. It was said that the Mexicans were just getting food for their horses. Texas won
