Hi,
Input/output devices have been around since the inception of electronics, in one form or another. There would be no reasoning to having a device input, without having an output of some type, or a function for it to complete.
In computerese, it's a device that has the capability ot either input data or output data on demand.
Hope this helps to clear up some of the mystery.

Input = Keyboard Input = scanner Output = printer Storage Devices = Hard Drive Storage Devices = Thumb Drive
The answer is usb :d
There are lots of possible rules.The simplest is:output = input + 13However all the following will also work:output = 33 - inputoutput = 2.3 x inputoutput = 230 / inputoutput = 73 - 5 x inputoutput = 2 x input + 3The above is only a small number of the many, many, many rules which meet the criteria of input of 10 giving an output of 23.
what do you mean by input/ouput units?
