When you register on WikiAnswers you submit your email. When you receive a trust point, you also receive an email stating that you have received a trust point. The username or IP address who gave you the trust point will not be included however. You can also look on your profile page and see the trust point count.

If you have asked for updates to questions you will see my answer and maybe give yourself your first point. If anyone is curious to see if Sarah has given herself a point they need to click on her link in the question history. In fact just click on history and you can see the number of points after her name. you have to be good.
