The Trust Point system allows contributors to vote for a WikiAnswers member whose contributions you think are worthwhile and legitimate, and clean. Please see the related links for more information on trust points.
When you register on WikiAnswers you submit your email. When you receive a trust point, you also receive an email stating that you have received a trust point. The username or IP address who gave you the trust point will not be included however. You can also look on your profile page and see the trust point count.
It does not matter who gave you a Trust Point; it has been discussed in the past to allow a user to view which answers they received a Trust Point for, but this is not yet programmed.
Trust Point "earn" other contributor's and readers' trust and respect for the quality answers you give.
You can get trust points on WikiAnswers by making many helpful edits and doing your best to make WikiAnswers a great Q&A site. When people see an answer you posted on a question, they have the option to "Recommend" you. When they do this, you receive a trust point.To earn trust point you have to answer questions. If the asker thinks your answer is good they will give you a trust point. Not all askers give trust points though. Good luck and keep answering!

If you have asked for updates to questions you will see my answer and maybe give yourself your first point. If anyone is curious to see if Sarah has given herself a point they need to click on her link in the question history. In fact just click on history and you can see the number of points after her name. you have to be good. If you have not been earning any trust points, it may be because of any of these reasons: * you have not been spending a lot of time around WikiAnswers * you have not been answering questions * you have been answering questions without thinking about them or just writing random answers like **********
