Never, like the angels, our final choice between God or ourselves is final, once we are dead, it is therefore irrevocable. Hell is the state of being without God, and is given to all of those who choose someone or something else as the first love in their life. Do not be fooled, "choosing" is not something you say, it is how you are acting throughout your entire life, every single thing you do in this life is part of that final decision. NOTHING is irrelevant, God sees it all, and He has created us immortal, our souls can never die, so our final decision is just that - final, and our destiny is eternal. Our Blessed Lord in the Scriptures very clearly points out that MOST people choose the wide and easy way, most people end up in hell, for eternity.
Spiritual imprisonment refers to a state where one feels confined or trapped in their personal growth, belief system, or spiritual journey. It can manifest as feeling restricted in exploring new ideas or perspectives, being stuck in negative patterns, or experiencing a sense of disconnect from one's higher self or spiritual purpose. Overcoming spiritual imprisonment often involves self-reflection, healing, and breaking free from limiting beliefs or influences.
Most religions believe in being damned to hell, including Christians, and Mormons. Hell is an important part of religion, because you will be damned to hell if you don't believe in and follow Jesus and his teachings.

yes if you have your faith in him he will save you if you abandon him and stop loving him you wont be saved
Hell is a state of eternal punishment originally formed by or for the fallen angels. It will become a "place" at the final judgment as the damned souls in hell will receive their bodies back, but for now everybody in it is entirely spiritual: the fallen angels, and the souls of the damned. As they have no bodies, hell just defines a state of separation from God and eternal, unending suffering. But, as it said, it will be a place at the end of time when the damned receive their bodies back. But as it really isn't a place right now, it can hardly be above us, although the Bible speaks of it as being "below."
