Short, sweet and to the point is best. Something like "Thank you for the kind words" might be a good start if it's a personal letter. If the letter is from an employer it would be appropriate to start with something like "Thank you for your faith in me" and add something like "I'm excited to get started" and/or "I won't let you down" Of course, finding words that you're comfortable with is what's important. Be sincere.
to elaborate on experiences and tell the employer why you would make a good employee ---------------------------------- The main purpose of a cover letter is to give a personal introduction from you to the company you are trying to get hired at. The cover will ultimately give the hiring manager a reason to check out your resume and want to learn more about you and how you can help the company. The purpose of a cover letter is to introduce one's self to prospective employer. It is like an introduction to the resume and tends to give an idea of the individual's personality.

Prospective means: 1. of or in the future: prospective earnings. 2. potential, likely, or expected: a prospective partner. A prospective employer is an employer for whom you might work in the future or have a possibility of working (for example, an employer to whom you have applied for work or for whom you would like to work), but you are not yet working.
Following your interveiw ...happy quizzing my fellow apex cheaters!
What's your salary requirement?
For an interview perhaps or serious consideration but a little old fashioned so not routinely done anymore
What's your salary requirement?
Yes. The legal implications would only be if they lied and caused you harm.
A prospective employer may be interested in your health because many employers pay a portion of their employees' health insurance. Health insurance premiums may be higher if you are in poor health or a regular smoker. However, a potential employer is not legally allowed to ask questions about health during an interview.
That would be entirely up to whatever their prospective employer does, or does not, offer as part of their employment package.
In Canada you have the right to go to the former employer and ask to see your employee file and they have to accommodate the ex employee. However, what is in your file and what the former employer says behind your back are two different things. I always get a Letter of Recommendation from former employers because it covers your back. If they say anything else they would look like a complete fool because you have it in writing with your Letter of Recommendation. Employers don't have to give you a Letter of Recommendation, but give it a go. Every bit helps.
my personal opinion is no. I would send the Thank you and add note stating you have a revised resume if requestedl
say, "i would like to thank all who has helped." or, "i would like to thank you all"
