No , the brake light should come on when you press the parking brake pedal , but the ABS light should not come on
No it should not.
Check that your hand brake is all the way down. If your hand brake switch is tripped, the brake lihgt should come on, and the automatic running lights won't.
You need to adjust your brake light switch. It should be located on the brake pedal. Unplug the switch and loosen the nuts to adjust the button closer to the brake pedal.
The brake switch on a 1999 Corolla should be on the top of the brake pedal arm. If the switch goes bad, then the brake lights might stay on, or not come on at all.
THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH IS NOT PUTTING OUT BATTERY WHENEVER THE BRAKE PEDAL IS PUSHED DOWN. CHECK TO SEE IF BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON WHEN BRAKE PEDAL IS PUSHED DOWN. IF BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON, THEN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SHIFT IT OUT OF PARK. IF NO BRAKE LIGHTS, THEN IT WON'T SHIFT OUT OF PARK. IF THIS IS THE CASE, THEN REPLACE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH.
The ebrake is on. Release the E-brake and it should go out. If that isn't the problem check the brake fluid, if low top off and it to a shop to get checked. If the brake fluid is full you should get it towed to a shop and checked. Don't drive it because it may have a brake failure somewhere.
i dont know about the oil and brake ...but brake and battery light comes on you should check the alternator for proper charge
If you are speaking of the brake light on the dash, you may be low on brake fluid. Just fill the master cylinder with DOT 3 brake fluid, and the light should not come on anymore.
Yes , the " BRAKE " light in your dash will come on if the brake fluid is low or your emergency / parking brake is engaged
First, get your cliches correct. It's SHARP AS A TACK and that should make it obvious. Tacks are little nails, and they're sharp on one end.
No. The one in the middle is a brake light, and should only come on when you put on the brakes.
