It depends on many factors. Is that the state where your license is issued? If not, Mass may decide that they just want some money from you. What was the citation for? Ten over won't amount to much, 50 over or wreckless driving will get you points no matter where you got the ticket. Points are what hurts your insurance rates.
== == In MI your insurance goes up on each and every ticket you get. Not sure about Kansas, but probably the same.
yes, any ticket will add points to your licence (i think a seatbelt ticket only adds one or two) and your insurance goes by the points on your licence
Ea. state has different points system-check your dmv, but probably 2.
You get a ticket and your insurance goes up. You can not drive without a license and if you cost the insurance company money they raise your premiums especially if you get a ticket
No, They only appear on your record once the ticket has been adjudictaed or disposed of, unless of course it goes to warrant.
depends on how many speeding tickets you have. your rates may go up and yes, you can lose your insurance. if that happens it is hard to get insured and you will have topay higher premiums until the ticket goes off your record.
Depends on your state. As far as your DMV record goes yes it will count as a point. It will also go in the insurance database too, although some insurance companies may "forgive" the point just like some will forgive at fault accidents. However if you switch companies, the new company may base your rate on that speeding ticket.
The period goes after the closing parenthesis of the citation.
To my knowledge, the violation goes against that persons personal driving record, not the vehicle itself. But, if you share the same insurance, then I would say definitely. Now if they go to Traffic School, then the ticket is erased and will not affect the insurance rates. But to be sure, ask either your insurance broker or the clerk at the Traffic Court. Hope this helps.
Whether it goes up or not usually depends on your insurance provider and associated coverage. Your best option is to call and ask them. They're going to find out anyway.
It depends where you got the ticket. In Texas they have no idea unless you are convicted and it goes on your record, or if an accident was involved. I am a Dallas Fort Worth area traffic ticket and warrant attorney. Contact me if you need help at richie@richardhmartin.com or www.richardhmartin.com.
Your insurance won't go up if you submitted the traffic school certificate to the court by the due date so don't worry. You should have the documentation necessary to prove you went to trafficschoolo.
