Well, if it is extremely immobilized (Doesn't move except minor vibrations) and you rapidly put it into use, if it wasn't put properly, it would have clotted in some areas, those clots would burst, and you'd die of shock (If I remember correctly).

I remember when I wrapped my thumb after I chopped off the top with a sharp bowie knife by accident, after I took off the gauze and other things the skin fell off.

So - Blood clots, skin death, possibly going unconscious (A kid at one of my schools collapsed from not moving his knees for hours of playing, blood clots I guess).
