Smelly washing machines are often caused by a build-up of bacteria, mold, and mildew. This can happen if the machine isn't cleaned regularly or if water is left sitting in the drum for an extended period. To combat the odor, consider running a cleaning cycle with hot water, vinegar, and baking soda, and make sure to leave the door open between cycles to allow for better air circulation and prevent moisture build-up.
To clean a smelly washing machine, you can run a cycle with hot water and vinegar or baking soda to remove mildew and odor-causing residues. Wipe down the door seal, detergent dispenser, and drum with a vinegar solution as well. Finally, leave the door open after each use to allow the machine to dry completely and prevent mold growth.

Manufacturers equip walk-in bathtubs with doors that allow access to the tub while keeping the water inside. These doors can open inwards toward the tub or outwards away from the tub. Although water pressure helps seal the door in the inward-opening configuration, a quality tub system will keep the water in as long as the door remains closed.

For an open machine thermal conduction and air-cooling are the only methods possible, sometimes with a fan to boost the flow of air.Oil-cooling and water-cooling can only be used on closed machines.

Obstruction in the hot water supply line, bad valve, or broken water line. Drain system and remove valve cartridge, open hot supply to blow out line and see if water comes out. If it does than you have a bad cartridge, if not broken line that needs to be repaired.
