When you lift the hood on my Corvette 95 Hood light will not come on?

Check the fuse, it is in the lower drivers side beside the headlight. It is a fuse that blows easily when you leave the hood up for a period of time. When working on the vehicle it is best to pull the fuse, so it will not heat up and blow.
