When you play a land that says it enters the battlefield tapped does it still produce the mana for that turn or does it have to wait till the next turn?

To get the mana from a land, you have to tap it yourself. If another effect taps a permanent, then you don't gain that card's effect. The same goes for anything that comes into play tapped, it doesn't mean you automatically get the card's effect, or mana in the case of a land.

Call of Duty does have a larger fan base, and does produce more games. Besides this, Battlefield still appeals to a very large range of people drawing in more players. People keep playing Battlefield, because unlike Call of Duty, it has vehicles, and in my opinion better game modes.
