Your problem is not the temperature sensor. I had this problem with my 94 SC2 and it turned out to be a ruptured diaphragm in the brake booster. The brake booster is connected to your intake manifold and uses the vacuum from it to make pressing on the brake pedal easier. When this diaphragm tears you get an air leak that lowers your intake manifold vacuum and stalls the car. If you get your head down by the brake pedal with the car running and depress the brake pedal with your hand you will probably hear a slight hissing sound. Replacing the brake booster is kind of a pain as you have to remove the brake master cylinder and the battery and requires you to bleed the entire brake system at each wheel to get the air out of the system when you are done. You can pick up rebuilt brake boosters at most auto parts stores for less than $100.
Good Luck
The lights in the back should be on when you press the brake. That's the law and is normal operation.
You should always state you vitals when asking a question. If your car is a manual then my next question would be are you putting in the clutch pedal when you brake. The Idle Air Control valve controls idle rpms and may be fualty or dirty. Clean your throttle body thoroughly and see if you have an improvement.
While you under the hood, replace your Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor also. This sensor is VITAL to many systems of the car and being a '94 it is more than likely cracked sending false data to the PCM. Your car has two sensors, you want to replace the one with the two wire connector.
press it down until it clicks.
no
it stops a car when u press the breaks on the car
yup!
Viper Car Alarms will also shut the engine down.
Go get your breaks checked out. You may need new breaks.
car breaks down
The Car Coach - 2011 Things to Remember When Your Car Breaks Down was released on: USA: 4 July 2013
If there is no resistance when you do this you are likely to have air in the brake lines or you have lost your break fluid. (Don't drive you car with faulty breaks).
The GSM car alarm will also shut your car down if you tell it too and if you know when it needs to be shut down. The Viper Car Alarm company has a wide variety of car alarms that also shut down the car. These are also called car immobilisers. They come in a range of prices that will meet your needs. There are other companies who also make car immobilisers, however the Viper brand of immobilisers seems to consistently receive the best feedback. anonymous@oola.com
if by shut down you mean remotely disable the ignition, then no. they can however shut it down by issuing a reposession order.
The car could be shut down from a remote location.
