ANS2:That depends. In the case where you filled up your leaking radiator with water to limp home, and all of the coolant that was in your engine block's water jacket has drained out and has been replaced by water--YES. If you have staunched the leak and added the antifreeze, it will not have mixed with the water in the water jacket of the engine block and the heater core.
The keys to answering this question properly are:
If there are pockets of freezable water in the system and if the temperature will drop, you better bring your engine up to temperature before you put it to bed. You will know that the water has mixed with the antifreeze by the heat coming from your defroster and cabin heater.
If it isn't going to get cold tonight, go to bed. Drive the car in the morning and you will have mixed the water and antifreeze sufficiently.
I BELIEVE that STRAIGHT ethylene glycol antifreeze freezes at ( 7 * Fahrenheit )
Yes. The water circulates the heat and the anti-freeze changes the freezing point. Use a proper mixture.
Yes it can freeze.
Yes, anti-freeze can kill you if you drink it.

Depends on what kind you have It depends on the anti-freeze to water ratio. Only reference I could find said straight anti-freeze has a boiling point of 370 which I find a little questionable, but possibly correct.
remove rad and slam panel to improve access. Then remove drive belt and timing belt cover. Water pump is then straight in front and easy to change. remember to fill using anti freeze!!
50% anti-freeze, 50% water is normal, this can be elevated to 70% anti-freeze, 30% water. It is not recommended to have a higher anti-freeze ratio than this.
The color of the antifreeze does not have anything to do with the type of anti-freeze. Anti-freeze manufacturers can make their anti-freeze any color they choose. You can use any SAE certified anti-freeze in your 1997 Toyota Corolla.
It's due to the car over heating and it's usually because of cheap anti freeze or too much water in the mixture. (Probably a clogged radiator or a bad thermostat, too much water or "cheap anti-freeze" has nothing to do with it. They don't make "cheap" anti freeze. Anti-freeze is just that... anti-freeze!)
All Caravan and Grand Caravans from 95 -2003 will run happily on regular green anti-freeze. I have had 4 of these vehicles and never a problem with anti-freeze.
Pressure in the motor building up, using straight water instead of anti freeze, or having a blown head gasket or cracked head would cause a freeze plug to blow out. Better take it to a mechanic and have them look at it.
