If you know there is nothing wrong with the transmission, it is either the shifter handle not releasing completely, the linkage or cable to the transmission depending on which you have, or where they connect to the transmission. Did anything happen shortly before this started? Impact, any work in the engine compartment, hit a large pothole? Year, make and model of the car might be a factor in finding an answer.
at first, nothing. then approx 1000 miles later, the transmission will actually explode. depending on the type of vehicle/transmission, the explosion could very well injure you.
Nothing Nothing
most likely the transmission
Nothing -_-.....
nothing at all
The transmission will shift to the appropriate gear, if it's functioning properly. Otherwise, you'll either run really high RPMs, or you'll bog down.
Yes, nothing is wrong with that.
it happens. There's nothing wrong with it.
Check the transmission fluid level.
not sure about how you tell if something is wrong, but i can tell you without fluid in your transmission for any period of time can very possibly destroy it.
If a person adds the wrong transmission fluid many things can happen. Some cars can continue to run, others will have problems and stall out or not provide a smooth ride.
