we're talking about those codes from one to six which appear when you turn the ignition on while pressing the reset button..
I will try to answer this. If you mean codes in the on board computer, it takes 100 miles of driving to make the computer readable if the battery has been disconnected for some time or the error codes have been erased from the ECU (computer).
If you mean reset the computer: remove the battery negative cable for a few minutes. If youhave security codes on the radio write them down before removing the cable. Replace the cable and the ECM should be reset.
yes thare is but you have to make your own code if you dont have a computer or if you do have a computer you can just serch for codes on the internet Manualy
If you mean to reset the "Check Engine" light, disconnect the battery for one minute.
You need to have a diagnostic meter to read the codes, then book to tell you what they mean.
it means u can edit those settings.
If you mean the diagnostic computer (the thing that makes the "check engine" light come on), then no - any dealership should be able to reset this, or you can do it yourself if you buy an OBDII hand-held computer (about $35 on Amazon).
Reboot is computer talk for turn off the computer and turn it back on. It helps reset the memory and other processes.
What do you mean... reflash? Trying to get comp codes? Trying to clear all comp codes?
If you mean for fuel mix etc comp will reset and relearn after a long enough battery disconnect. As long as engine trans combo matches computer you are fine. If you did a swap, you don't reset it, you get an ECU that matches your combo
